| Tuesday Evening Orienteering.
Orienteering continues on August 3rd and 10th please note! the venue has changed to Florencecourt Forest.
Both events will be accessed via Brady's Lane which is on the Florencecourt to Blacklion Road- 1.3 Km past Florencecourt village, this is just as you approach church hill, the lane is on the right and it will be signposted at the main road and to the start, the forest gate will be unlocked.
The event will start at 6:30 - 7:00pm
There are 2 courses, Yellow 1Km and Orange 2Km but they will feel harder because they are mostly off track and the vegetation is luxuriant!!!!!!!!!!
In decidious woodland and rough open areas this means slow going (definitely full body cover ).
The coniferous woods are clear but some have brashings. This is distinctly classic orienteering compared with the man-managed parkland terrain of earlier events in the Tuesday evening events series so far.
Everybody is welcome and help and advice available electronic punching will be used.
